New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (leg) had his leg checked out by the team's medical staff after Week 3, but nothing serious was found, reports Jeff Duncan, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

QB | Brett Favre | Minnesota Vikings | Injury
Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre (arm) suffered a stinger in Week 3 but stayed in the game, according to Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "I got a stinger," Favre said. "A pinched nerve or a stinger. I don't know if you've ever had one. It's kind of like you hit your funny bone and it's not funny. That's what that was." Favre said he didn't feel too bad after the game.


Running Back

RB | Steven Jackson | St. Louis Rams | Injury, Fantasy
St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo said RB Steven Jackson (groin) has a groin strain and is considered day-to-day, reports StLouisRams.com. The Rams will be cautious with the injury and will see where he is Wednesday, Sept. 29.

RB | Ryan Mathews | San Diego Chargers | Injury, Fantasy
San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner said he hopes RB Ryan Mathews (ankle) will be able to participate in practice at some point this week, reports Kevin Acee, of the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Updating a previous report, Detroit Lions RB Jahvid Best (toe) has grade two turf toe and is considered day-to-day, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

RB | Michael Bush | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders RB Michael Bush (thumb) said his injured thumb held up fine in Week 3 and he plans on taking the protective pad off next week, according to Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers.

RB | Ray Rice | Baltimore Ravens | Injury
Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice (knee) remains upbeat that he will be able to play in the team's Week 4 game, according to Kevin Van Valkenburg, of The Baltimore Sun. "Right now, everything is standard," Rice said. "I'll take some tests on Monday, but everything looks positive." The Ravens are being vague about the extent of Rice's injury; however, head coach John Harbaugh said there is no ligament tear in the knee.

RB | Keith Toston | St. Louis Rams | Injury
St. Louis Rams RB Keith Toston (shoulder), SS Darian Stewart (thigh) and DT Gary Gibson (ankle) suffered injuries in Week 3, according to StLouisRams.com. None of the injuries are believed to be serious.


Wide Receiver

WR | Andre Johnson | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous item, Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson (ankle) is not worried about making his ankle injury worse, even though he aggravated the injury in Week 3, according to John McClain and Jenny Dial, of the Houston Chronicle. "I'm not worried about that," Johnson said. "I'm not worried about my ankle when I'm out there. I'm trying to help the team win a game. That's my focus. I felt pain when I got tackled today. That's the only reason I came off the field. Doctor checked it out and told me I hadn't done anything worse to it. I'm going to feel pain every time I get hit on it if I continue to play. I have to come out for a few plays until it goes away. That's what I'm going to continue to do until it gets better."

WR | Dominique Curry | St. Louis Rams | Injury
St. Louis Rams WR Dominique Curry (knee) suffered a right knee injury in Week 3 and is doubtful to return to the game, reports StLouisRams.com.

WR | Mike X. Williams | Seattle Seahawks | Injury, Fantasy
Seattle Seahawks WR Mike X. Williams (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury in Week 3 and is questionable to return, reports Mike Sando, of ESPN.com.


Tight End

Dallas Cowboys TE Jason Witten (knee) is scheduled to undergo an MRI Monday, Sept. 27, on the sprained knee he suffered in Week 3, reports Clarence E. Hill Jr., of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Witten was able to play the entire game despite the injury.

TE | Visanthe Shiancoe | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings TE Visanthe Shiancoe (leg) should be all right, according to head coach Brad Childress, reports The Associated Press. The Vikings have a Week 4 Bye, so Shiancoe will have plenty of time to rest before their Oct. 11 game against the New York Jets in Week 5.


Guard

OG | Kyle Kosier | Dallas Cowboys | Injury
Updating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys OG Kyle Kosier (knee) is expected to miss two to four weeks because of the sprained knee he suffered in Week 3, reports Jan Hubbard, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

OG | Louis Vasquez | San Diego Chargers | Injury
San Diego Chargers OG Louis Vasquez (undisclosed) suffered an undisclosed injury in Week 3 and was carted off the field, according to Kevin Acee, of the San Diego Union-Tribune.


Defensive Line

DL | Chris Hoke | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury
Pittsburgh Steelers DT Chris Hoke (knee) suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament and will miss at least two weeks, report Ed Bouchette and Gene Collier, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.


Linebacker

LB | Kavell Conner | Indianapolis Colts | Injury
Indianapolis Colts LB Kavell Conner (foot) suffered a broken bone in his left foot during the team's Week 3 game, a source told FOXSports.com's Adam Caplan.
