QB | Jason Campbell | Oakland Raiders | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders head coach Tom Cable said the team is not going to have a controversy at quarterback, reports Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers. "I'll make a good decision, the right decision, and we'll go from there," Cable said regarding picking his Week 3 starting quarterback. Cable plans to address the situation again Wednesday, Sept. 22, but McDonald said the depth at the position has QB Jason Campbell, who started the first two games, as the team's No. 3 quarterback. Campbell was benched in Week 2 for Bruce Gradkowski.

QB | Luke McCown | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury

QB | Josh Freeman | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman impressed the coaching staff with his ability to make the right decisions and avoid costly turnovers in Week 2, reports PewterReport.com's Wolf Heard. "There is no doubt about it, some of the best plays he made are just how happy you are about the decisions he made," said head coach Raheem Morris. "They were great decisions, great moments that could have been big time positive plays for the Carolina Panthers and he didn't give them. Sometimes we say, 'the best play is the one you don't make.' He absolutely proved that true yesterday." Freeman threw the ball away several times when there wasn't a play with the football in Week 2. He also added four carries for 48 yards and three of the runs went for first downs. Offensive coordinator Greg Olson thinks one of the next steps for Freeman will be understanding the run scheme and when to change out of plays when the situation is not ideal.

RB | C.J. Spiller | Buffalo Bills | Fantasy
Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey said following the team's Week 2 game that he wants to break RB C.J. Spiller into the offense slowly, using him on third downs, as Gailey looks to get RBs Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson more involved, according to Kareem Copeland, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. "We wanted to get Marshawn and Fred (Jackson) a lot more involved today," Gailey said. "Didn't put C.J. (Spiller) in there as much. We're going to use him on third downs and continue to work him back in there slowly." Lynch carried the ball just three times in Week 1, but was the primary runner in Week 2. He totaled 64 yards on 17 attempts while Spiller, who started in Week 1, received just one carry in Week 2.

RB | Reggie Bush | New Orleans Saints | Injury

RB | Ryan Mathews | San Diego Chargers | Injury, Fantasy
San Diego Chargers rookie RB Ryan Mathews (ankle) underwent tests on his right ankle, which were negative, reports Kevin Acee, of The San Diego Union-Tribune. The early indications are that he will be available to play against the Seattle Seahawks during Week 3. Mathews was wearing a protective boot on his injured foot and was sore Monday, Sept. 20. Through two games, Mathews has carried the ball 24 times for 101 yards and has three catches for 31 yards, but he has also fumbled the football two times. Head coach Norv Turner reiterated the need for Mathews to secure the ball better, but he is not too worried about a player who fumbled just three times during his collegiate career.

There is no automatic suspension under any circumstances. The league isn't commenting on a possible outcome or specifics.

WR | Wes Welker | New England Patriots | Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Wes Welker caught four passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in the first half of New England's Week 2 game, but he had just two receptions for a total of five yards in the second half and wasn't targeted in the final 25 minutes, reports The Boston Globe's Tony Massarotti.

WR | Chad Ochocinco | Cincinnati Bengals | Injury, Fantasy

The Green Bay Packers do not appear to be inclined to put OT Chad Clifton (knees) back in a game until his knee problems improve dramatically, according to Rob Demovsky, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Clifton was removed in Week 2 because his sore knees wouldn't allow him to play up to standards, and at this point, there's reason to think he won't be markedly better by Week 3. The Packers probably are going to have to prepare rookie OT Bryan Bulaga this week to start at left tackle.

OT | Brandyn Dombrowski | San Diego Chargers | Injury
