Fantasy baseball waivers and the acquisition of fantasy baseball free agents can make or break your season. Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets won't help you after spring training. If your team remains the same after opening day, you will have trouble competing in your rotisserie baseball league.

Do you need to replace your fantasy baseball busts? Which fantasy baseball players can you ignore?'s Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market gives you fantasy baseball tips and insight to sort through the masses quickly.

Chris Tillman, SP, Baltimore Orioles

Baltimore Orioles SP Chris Tillman
Another chance for Tillman

A few days into the month, B-more recalled Tillman, 22, for his third stint with the club this year. The talented right-hander continues to seek consistency in the bigs. He issues too many walks, misses too few bats and yields too many fly balls, especially in that home park of his.

The right-hander is slowly improving his K/9 and swing-and-miss percentage, but not enough to be encouraging. And, despite two outings with low damage in his starts since his recall, he walked nine hitters in 12 innings. He didn't give his infield defense a much greater chance to bail him out, either.

Tillman was gaining more confidence after the midseason point, when he began incorporating his two-seamer more often. He must change something to avoid leaving so many pitches up. Unlike Brian Matusz and Jake Arrieta, Tillman won't be shut down, it appears. He still has tons of promise and is hurling for a club with some new direction. Hope is far from gone, mostly for 2011 and beyond.
