Fantasy baseball waivers and the acquisition of fantasy baseball free agents can make or break your season. Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets won't help you after spring training. If your team remains the same after opening day, you will have trouble competing in your rotisserie baseball league.

Do you need to replace your fantasy baseball busts? Which fantasy baseball players can you ignore? KFFL.com's Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market gives you fantasy baseball tips and insight to sort through the masses quickly.

Pitchers

Ivan Nova, SP, New York Yankees

New York Yankees SP Ivan Nova
Nova explosion coming?

The Yanks announced that Nova will take another turn in the rotation. The outing comes this Sunday at the Chicago White Sox. The right-hander fared well in his first outing, holding the Toronto Blue Jays to two runs on six hits (one of them a homer) and a walk, with three K's. The Jays are ordinarily extremely tough on righties and at home.

Nova's solid fastball sits in the low to mid-90s. The rest of his pitches aren't reliable yet, although he can be nasty. He keeps the ball on the ground a fair amount, but he's still raw. You can't ignore what Nova, 23, did at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre: a 2.86 ERA, a 1.26 WHIP and 115 K's in 145 frames. Proceed with caution, however.

Shallow mixed: Pass

Deep mixed: Watch
