He will receive a base salary of $320,000 in 2010, $405,000 in 2011, $490,000 in 2012 and $575,00 in 2013. The deal also includes a slotted signing bonus and a fourth-year escalator clause that can significantly boost the maximum value of the deal.

Running Back

RB | Jerome Harrison | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Harrison may start training camp as the team's No. 2 running back behind RB Montario Hardesty because he missed most of the offseason workouts while Hardesty impressed the coaches with his running ability, instincts and knowledge during the workouts, according to Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Harrison and Hardesty will compete for the starting job during training camp, but the team may use a running back by committee approach during the season. The team likely will use multiple running backs this season because of the knee issues Hardesty has dealt with in the past.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles needs to show signs that he can keep improving and last year's strong performance wasn't a fluke, reports Kent Babb, of The Kansas City Star. Bowe struggled with his conditioning during running drills after sitting out 12 straight workouts. "Can you imagine your first day coming back to 14 100s?" Bowe said. "Man, it was like college again. I've never done this intensive competing, conditioning and technique in one day."

WR | Jacoby Ford | Oakland Raiders | Transaction
The Oakland Raiders have signed fourth-round draft choice WR Jacoby Ford, according to Raiders.com. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

WR | Vincent Jackson | San Diego Chargers | Free Agents, Fantasy

Tight End

TE | Jermaine Gresham | Cincinnati Bengals | Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals TE Jermaine Gresham is expected to get the starting job if he reports to training camp within the first three days because he performed well during offseason workouts, reports The Cincinnati Enquirer's Joe Reedy. TE Reggie Kelly could get the starting job if Gresham has a prolonged holdout or if Gresham takes a significant step back.

Offensive Tackle

OT | Andre Smith | Cincinnati Bengals | Injury
Cincinnati Bengals OT Andre Smith (foot) is on schedule to be cleared to practice when training camp starts, according to Geoff Hobson, of Bengals.com.

OT | Marcus McNeill | San Diego Chargers | Free Agents
San Diego Chargers general manager A.J. Smith said he does not expect restricted free-agent WR Vincent Jackson or OT Marcus McNeill to report for training camp and believes that they could sit out for a long time, reports Nick Canepa, of the San Diego Union-Tribune. "I think it's over with," Smith said. "I think they're going to be here for six games, and then they think they're going to be free."

Guard

OG | Todd Herremans | Philadelphia Eagles | Injury
Philadelphia Eagles OG Todd Herremans (foot) says his left foot will be fine, and that a recent visit to a specialist in June was a checkup to gauge the condition of his foot, reports Mike Mattson, of the Muskegon Chronicle. Herremains said, "It will be fine. I had to get it looked at in the offseason. I had to make sure it was suitable and I can play on it. The doctor said everything is playable. I'll be alright."

OG | Chester Pitts | Free Agent | Free Agents

FS | Eric Berry | Kansas City Chiefs | Fantasy
The Kansas City Chiefs have a history of not having their top draft pick signed in time for training camp, reports Kent Babb, of The Kansas City Star. There are few indications that S Eric Berry, the team's first-round pick, will break the trend. The team cannot afford to be without him, as he is expected to be an immediate starter.
