QB | Michael Vick | Philadelphia Eagles | Injury
Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick has been cleared of any charges in a shooting outside a nightclub after the Virginia Beach police said they have identified who the shooter was in the incident, reports Jeff McLane, of the Philadelphia Inquirer. The Eagles also looked into the incident and have not found any information that would lead them to believe Vick was involved, which means the team is not expected to release Vick. The Virginia Beach police have said the case is closed at this time.
QB | Matthew Stafford | Detroit Lions | Fantasy
Detroit Lions TE Tony Scheffler said he has been working on building chemistry with QB Matthew Stafford during offseason workouts and looked in rhythm during practices, reports Carlos Monarrez, of the Detroit Free Press. "I'm starting to get a little bit of chemistry with Matthew, and I love being in this offense. It's fun," Scheffler said. "There's a lot of chances for guys to get favorable matchups and kind of put the onus on you to step up and make plays."
QB | JaMarcus Russell | Free Agent | Free Agents
Authorities would not comment whether they believe free-agent QB JaMarcus Russell (Raiders) had been dealing codeine prior to his arrest, according to Mike Herndon, of the Mobile Press-Register. Police did not find a prescription for the opiate in Russell's home at the time of the arrest.
RB | Shonn Greene | New York Jets | Fantasy
New York Jets RB Shonn Greene said he does not plan on changing his punishing running style, according to Manish Mehta, of the New York Daily News. "We don't run out of bounds. I've been taught that all my life … I don't think that's going to help the way I play by doing that. If I just go out and do what I do, everything else will take care of itself," Greene said. "That's what I do. You can't worry, 'Oh, what if I do this? What if I run out of bounds?' No, that's not the game of football to me. Football is a hard-nosed game."
RB | Ronnie Brown | Miami Dolphins | Injury, Fantasy

RB | Harvey Unga | NFL Draft Prospect | Draft
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could have interest in Brigham Young RB Harvey Unga in the later rounds of the NFL supplemental draft if another team does not select him, reports the St. Petersburg Times' Stephen Holder. WR | Wes Welker | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
A Week 1 return for New England Patriots WR Wes Welker (knee) is certainly a possibility, if not a probability, according to Albert Breer, of The Boston Globe. However, that is not to say anything should be assumed, but it wouldn't be stunning at all to see him playing. The bigger question may revolve around how effective he can be early on.
WR | Eric Decker | Denver Broncos | Injury
