The Arizona Cardinals have not had recent discussions with free-agent QB Marc Bulger's (Rams) agent, Tom Condon, according to Kent Somers, of the Arizona Republic. Bulger wants to continue playing but is "just taking his time" deciding for whom, Condon said.

QB | Daunte Culpepper | UFL | Transaction, Free Agents
Unrestricted free-agent QB Daunte Culpepper (Lions) has signed with the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League, reports Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Atlanta Falcons RB Michael Turner is using the offseason to round back into shape, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter, of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I wouldn't say 100 (percent)," Turner said. "I would say 90. I'm well enough to play some games and not worry about it." Turner has remained upbeat this offseason. "I've had high ankle sprains before but for me to go back out there and keep repeating it and hurting it over and over again, probably made the healing process a little bit longer," Turner said.

New England Patriots RB Laurence Maroney has improved his route running ability throughout organized team activities as he is often able to break on his routes at the right time to catch a pass, according to CBSSports.com.

Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress said the team did an offseason study on how to help RB Adrian Peterson solve his fumbling problem, according to Chip Scoggins, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. During practice Monday, June 7, running backs carried a 14-pound football filled with sand during one drill designed to help the backs get a better feel for the football and presumably help reduce fumbles.

RB | LeSean McCoy | Philadelphia Eagles | Injury
Philadelphia Eagles OG Todd Herremans (foot), RB LeSean McCoy (ankle) and LB Stewart Bradley (calf) did not participate in practice Monday, June 7, reports Jeff McLane, of the Philadelphia Inquirer.


Wide Receiver

New England Patriots WR Wes Welker (knee) said he is not really surprised at his progress from surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to Mike Reiss, of ESPNBoston.com. Welker, however, would not say whether he thinks it's realistic that he might be ready for Week 1 of the 2010 season. "I want to get back as early as possible, and whenever that is, is when it is," Welker said. "My main goal is just working hard and getting back with my teammates as soon as possible."

WR | Joshua Cribbs | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
Cleveland Browns WR Joshua Cribbs said he will play multiple positions this upcoming season and be lined up across the field, according to Mary Kay Cabot, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I'm comfortable at (receiver) but I don't want to say that's going to be my position, because I'd be doing myself and the team a disservice," Cribbs said. "That's not my only position and that's not the position you'll mostly see me at. It's going to be all across the field, and that's how I help my team."

The San Diego Chargers sent a letter to WR Vincent Jackson, who has yet to re-sign as a restricted free agent, informing him his 2010 salary will be drastically reduced if he does not sign his tender offer before June 15, reports Kevin Acee, of The San Diego Union-Tribune. It is believed that Jackson's agent sent the Chargers a letter saying if they received a letter about a reduction, the team would not see Jackson in camp for some time to come. Sources believe Jackson may be prepared to sit out into the regular season, or even through 2010. If Jackson does not sign his one-year tender in the next week, his salary will be reduced from $3.268 million to $583,000.

WR | Malcom Floyd | San Diego Chargers | Fantasy
San Diego Chargers WR Malcom Floyd is expected to take part in the team's offseason workouts Tuesday, June 8, reports Kevin Acee, of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Floyd signed his one-year, $3.168 million tender Monday.

WR | Hakeem Nicks | New York Giants | Injury
New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (wrist, toe) participated in individual drills during practice Monday, June 7, according to New York Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano. Nicks said he has been cleared to practice fully during the team's upcoming minicamp.

Denver Broncos WR Eric Decker (foot) was running and catching passes on the side during practice Monday, June 7, reports DenverBroncos.com's Gray Caldwell.

WR | Isaac Bruce | St. Louis Rams | Transaction
The San Francisco 49ers have traded WR Isaac Bruce to the St. Louis Rams so Bruce could announce his retirement as a member of the Rams, reports StLouisRams.com. It is not known what the 49ers will receive in return.


Offensive Tackle

OT | Marcus McNeill | San Diego Chargers | Free Agents

OT | Ed Wang | Buffalo Bills | Injury
Buffalo Bills OT Ed Wang (ankle) is expected to be fully healthy for the start of training camp, reports Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com. An MRI confirmed that Wang suffered a high ankle sprain during the team's minicamp, according to a source.


Guard

OG | Rich Seubert | New York Giants | Injury
New York Giants OL Guy Whimper and OG Rich Seubert split time at left guard with the first-team offense during practice Monday, June 7, according to New York Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano. It is not known if there is a competition or if Seubert is still recovering from a shoulder injury last season.


Defensive Line

Dallas Cowboys DT Jay Ratliff (elbows) will participate in the team's upcoming mandatory minicamp, a source told Tim MacMahon, of ESPNDallas.com. Ratliff has not been taking part in offseason workouts because of offseason elbow surgeries.


Linebacker

Carolina Panthers LB Thomas Davis (unknown) walked off the field with a trainer following a spill on the practice field Tuesday, June 8, according to Darin Gantt, of the Charlotte Observer. Davis was backpedaling during an individual drill when he slipped and went to the ground. Moments later, he walked off the field with the head trainer. There was no update from the team on his condition, though there was a sense that the injury wasn't major.

Arizona Cardinals OG Rex Hadnot (knee) and LB Gerald Hayes (back) participated in practice Monday, June 7, reports AZCardinals.com's Darren Urban.

Buffalo Bills LB Kawika Mitchell (leg) did some work during the team's minicamp last weekend, reports John Wawrow, of The Associated Press. Mitchell said he is close to being fully healthy from his leg injury.

Cleveland Browns restricted free-agent LB Matt Roth, LB D'Qwell Jackson and SS Abram Elam still are not participating in the team's offseason workouts, according to Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Mike Singletary said the team is not considering signing free-agent FS Oshiomogho Atogwe (Rams), according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Singletary is happy with what the team has at safety.
