QB | Brett Favre | Minnesota Vikings | Injury
The Minnesota Vikings have not received any indication about QB Brett Favre's (ankle) surgery plans, reports Jason La Canfora, of NFL.com, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Favre is mulling whether or not to have what he deemed relatively minor ankle surgery to help him play football in 2010. To this point, the Vikings have received no indication from Favre about that decision, according to a source, and the team is not pushing him in any way to make that decision.

New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez (knee) threw some passes in seven-on-seven drills and participated in individual drills during the team's offseason workout Monday, May 17, but did not participate in any team drills, reports Randy Lange, of NewYorkJets.com

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Kellen Winslow (knee) did not attend the team's offseason workout Monday, May 17, because he is recovering from offseason knee surgery, according to PewterReport.com. The surgery is believed to be Winslow's fifth operation on his right knee in the last six years. Sources close to the situation say the knee surgery was a minor arthroscopic procedure that likely cleaned out some excess scar tissue from previous surgeries stemming from a motorcycle crash in 2005 when Winslow was a member of the Cleveland Browns.
