Quarterback

QB | Vince Young | Tennessee Titans | Fantasy
Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young is looking to improve on throwing to his left this offseason, reports Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean. Young said, "The ball is coming out more accurate. I feel a lot more comfortable doing it. But I have to keep working on my craft." Young was too sloppy with his technique throwing to that side, which hurt his accuracy and caused him to miss some open receivers. He completed 46.6 percent of his passes to the left sideline. Yuong said, "Sometimes I let my hips open up too much and I kind of fling the ball instead of being more balanced and having a good base and good frame in making a better throw to the left. So that is one of the main things I am working on, keeping the ball higher and not getting too relaxed."

QB | Joe Flacco | Baltimore Ravens | Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco has been playing pitch-and-catch with WR Donte' Stallworth and WR Anquan Boldin about three days a week since the middle of March, reports Jamison Hensley, of The Baltimore Sun. The sessions have allowed Flacco to find his timing with Stallworth and Boldin. Flacco said, "I feel comfortable throwing them the ball. Now, we've got to make sure we get on the same page with what they're actually going to do on a route. They have to understand exactly what we're looking for. It's one thing to go in there on a chalkboard and give them the play. But it's another thing to see how we've run it in the past and what's normal for us to do."

QB | Tyler Thigpen | Miami Dolphins | Depth Chart Tidbit
Miami Dolphins backup QB Tyler Thigpen is the clear-cut favorite to serve as starting QB Chad Henne's primary backup in 2010, reports Omar Kelly, of the Sun-Sentinel.com.

QB | Marc Bulger | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Arizona Cardinals have not had any contact with unrestricted free-agent QB Marc Bulger (Rams), sources have told The Arizona Republic's Kent Somers.

QB | JaMarcus Russell | Free Agent | Free Agents
New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said he does not think the team is interested in unrestricted free-agent QB JaMarcus Russell (Raiders) at this time, reports Mike Triplett, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Running Back

RB | Ronnie Brown | Miami Dolphins | Injury, Free Agents, Fantasy
Miami Dolphins restricted free-agent RB Ronnie Brown (foot) probably won't sign his tender offer until June 1st, reports Omar Kelly, of the Sun-Sentinel.com. At that point, the Dolphins can reduce their offer without releasing him. Brown is working with the Dolphins, but his minicamp status is in question due to last season's foot injury.

RB | Darren McFadden | Oakland Raiders | Fantasy
Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden could be transformed into a receiver out of the backfield if he shows he cannot cut it as a conventional 15- to 20-carry per game running back this year, reports Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers. McFadden looked good in the team's minicamp, just as he typically does in practice. He is explosive, a skilled receiver and quick to the corner. However, contact has been a problem for him, as he has gone down too easily and gotten injured in the past.

RB | Jerious Norwood | Atlanta Falcons | Injury
Atlanta Falcons RB Jerious Norwood (hip) was pulled out of practice Saturday, May 8, after experiencing soreness in his hip, reports D. Orlando Ledbetter, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Wide Receiver

WR | Terrell Owens | Free Agent | Free Agents
Free-agent WR Terrell Owens (Bills) could provide some much-needed depth to the Oakland Raiders' receiving corps this upcoming season, according to Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers. The Raiders could offer Owens an incentive-laden contract and cut him at the first sign of trouble and there's considerably more reward potential than risk.

WR | Anquan Boldin | Baltimore Ravens | Fantasy

WR | Michael Clayton | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Depth Chart Tidbit
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Michael Clayton is likely still on roster because the Buccaneers gave him a five-year, $24 million contract last year, reports Roy Cummings, of The Tampa Tribune. The Buccaneers still owe Clayton a lot of money, as his deal included $10.5 million in guaranteed payments. Next year, the contract is a little less onerous, so the chances of Clayton being cut increase. However, if he starts playing well that would change everything.

WR | Darrius Heyward-Bey | Oakland Raiders | Fantasy
Oakland Raiders second-year WR Darrius Heyward-Bey was more fluid in short and intermediate routes during the team's minicamp, and appeared more comfortable catching the football away from his body, securing it and turning upfield, reports Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers. However, Heyward-Bey is still dropping too many passes.

WR | Brandon Marshall | Miami Dolphins | Fantasy
Miami Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall has been doing the little things to help build relationships with his new teammates, reports Armando Salguero, of The Miami Herald. Marshall is making an effort to become part of the team and earn the respect of his teammates.

WR | Santana Moss | Washington Redskins | Injury
Washington Redskins WR Santana Moss (knee) is only participating in individual drills during the team's minicamp because he recently underwent arthroscopic knee surgery, reports Barry Svrluga, of The Washington Post. Moss said he will be ready for the team's June minicamp.

Tight End

TE | David Thomas | New Orleans Saints | Transaction
The New England Patriots have acquired a 2011 sixth-round draft pick in the deal that sent TE David Thomas to the New Orleans Saints last season, according to Mike Reiss, of ESPNBoston.com. At the time, the Saints originally sent their 2011 seventh-round pick to New England for Thomas. However, the trade included conditions that upgraded the draft pick if Thomas reached certain performance marks. Thomas enjoyed the best season of his career in 2009, playing in 15 games (eight starts) and totaling 35 receptions for 356 yards.

Offensive Tackle

OT | Jared Gaither | Baltimore Ravens | Injury
Baltimore Ravens OT Jared Gaither (foot) missed the team's practice Sunday, May 9, because he was receiving treatment for an injured foot, reports Jamison Hensley, of The Baltimore Sun. Gaither will get an MRI exam on his foot Monday, May 10, and will see a specialist this week, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

OT | Charles Brown | New Orleans Saints | Injury
New Orleans Saints OT Charles Brown (hamstring) has been limited during the team's minicamp this weekend because of a hamstring injury he suffered at his Pro Day, reports the New Orleans Times-Picayune's Mike Triplett. Head coach Sean Payton said he does not expect Brown to miss much time.

Guard

OG | Deuce Lutui | Arizona Cardinals | Free Agents
Arizona Cardinals restricted free-agent OG Deuce Lutui is expected to sign his tender offer before the June 15th deadline when the team can lower the offer of the tender, reports Kent Somers, of The Arizona Republic.

OG | Chester Pitts | Free Agent | Free Agents
Unrestricted free-agent OG Chester Pitts (Texans) said there is a possibility that he re-signed with the Houston Texans, but the Texans has not shown much interest in him, reports David Dalati, of FOXSportsHouston.com.

Offensive Line

OL | Arron Sears | Free Agent | Free Agents
Some people in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization believe free-agent OG Arron Sears (Buccaneers) might never play football again, reports Rick Stroud, of the St. Petersburg Times. The team had hoped Sears would return this season, but he had another setback in April and football is not his biggest concern.

Defensive Line

DL | John Henderson | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Philadelphia Eagles do not appear interested in adding free-agent DL John Henderson (Jaguars), reports Jordan Raanan, of CSNPhilly.com, according to a league source. The team has not had any contact with Henderson.

DL | Phillip Merling | Miami Dolphins | Depth Chart Tidbit
Miami Dolphins DE Phillip Merling will enter training camp with the first shot at being the team's starting right defensive end, reports Omar Kelly, of the Sun-Sentinel.com. Rookie DE Jared Odrick, however, will be given every opportunity to beat him out.

DL | Phillip Daniels | Washington Redskins | Injury
Washington Redskins DE Phillip Daniels (knee) and DL Greg Peterson (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Saturday, May 8, reports CSNWashington.com's Ryan O'Halloran.

Linebacker

LB | Sergio Kindle | Baltimore Ravens | Draft
Baltimore Ravens LB Sergio Kindle has backed off comments he made following the NFL Draft that he will be named Rookie of the Year in 2010, according to Aaron Wilson, of the National Football Post. "When I said that, it was just an exciting moment for me getting drafted," Kindle said at the team's recent minicamp. "My head was in the clouds. First of all, you've got to learn the playbook, get on the field and then perform well to get Rookie of the Year. It will be a good goal for me to set for myself to try to strive to, but I've got to take it one step at a time. So, if you can copy, paste and delete that, that would be nice."

LB | Andre Carter | Washington Redskins | Injury
Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan said he hoped LB Andre Carter (biceps) and DT Ma'ake Kemoeatu (Achilles') would be ready for the team's OTA June 1, reports Rick Maese, of The Washington Post.

LB | Brian Orakpo | Washington Redskins | Injury
Washington Redskins LB Brian Orakpo (ankle) did not participate in practice Saturday, May 8, reports CSNWashington.com's Ryan O'Halloran. Orakpo hopes to be able to practice Sunday, April 9.

LB | Rocky McIntosh | Washington Redskins | Free Agents
Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan said he expects restricted free-agent LB Rocky McIntosh to continue to attend offseason workouts and the team's mandatory minicamp in June, reports Paul Tenorio, of The Washington Post.

Cornerback

CB | Adam Jones | Cincinnati Bengals | Transaction, Free Agents
The Cincinnati Bengals officially signed free-agent CB Adam Jones (Cowboys) Monday, May 10, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter, via Twitter.

CB | Travis Fisher | Free Agent | Free Agents
Free-agent CB Travis Fisher (Seahawks) had a strong tryout with the Baltimore Ravens and could be signed to the roster as soon as this week, reports Aaron Wilson, of the National Football Post. Head coach John Harbaugh said, "He played well, he really looked good. Very solid player, good feet, good technician, works really hard, understands the game. Really picked the defense up quickly, and we threw a lot at him. Travis did a nice job."

Strong Safety

SS | Troy Polamalu | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury
Pittsburgh Steelers SS Troy Polamalu suffered more than a knee injury that knocked him out of 11 games in 2009. He also lost peace of mind as he watched his career flash before his eyes, reports John Harris, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "Yes, it was a concern," Polamalu said. "The hardest thing was if I would have injured it again, the doctor was saying that it will be a career-ending injury, most likely. I had to face that." Facing the reality of suffering a torn ligament in his left knee, Polamalu reluctantly wore a brace - although not all the time, as the team requested. If he didn't wear a brace last year, Polamalu was told there was a possibility his career would end prematurely. "In the past, I had to wear a brace because it was career-threatening. A career-ending injury if I would have sustained another injury," Polamalu said.

Free Safety

FS | Darren Sharper | New Orleans Saints | Injury
New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said FS Darren Sharper (knee) likely will not practice fully until the start of training camp because of offseason knee surgery, reports Mike Triplett, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

The Detroit Lions are scheduled to meet with unrestricted free-agent FS C.C. Brown (Giants) Monday, May 10, and are expected to sign Brown, reports Aaron Wilson, of the National Football Post.
