Jones is injury prone, to say the least, and this could pave the way for the versatile James to eventually start. Edge is a great receiver and pass blocker, so he could wind up as a third-down back if the team needs him to fit in somewhere.

Cons: Edge is 31 years old and has a lot of mileage - the 11th most rushing yards by all running backs in league history, to be precise. Seattle's offensive line is a mess, and James could be relegated to a third-down role. What kind of shape is he in? How long will it take him to digest the playbook?

Fantasy tip: James' best-case value for fantasy owners is probably a fifth running back, and we think that may be optimistic.
