Pros: Speed kills ... Heyward-Bey has plenty of it to burn. The Raiders are in desperate need of someone to step up and lead the receiving corps. The huge arm of quarterback JaMarcus Russell can only help the deep threat's cause. Defensively speaking, the AFC West isn't known to be stout against the pass.

Cons: Rookie wide receivers usually take a few years to develop. The Raiders don't have the greatest track record with producing fantasy-quality receivers in recent years. Russell remains a work-in-progress quarterback, too. Heyward-Bey (hamstring) has suffered two hamstring injuries, and training camp hasn't even started yet!

Fantasy tip: There isn't much reason to draft DHB in single-season fantasy leagues this year. By lack of other weapons in the Raiders' offense, we feel the team will force their first-round pick into the lineup, which gives him mild value. His production will probably be too erratic to count on him, though.
