Pros: Greene was a productive runner in 2008 for the Iowa Hawkeyes, his lone year as the primary ball carrier. He has the size to run inside and is able to bounce off-tackle if necessary. Running back Thomas Jones is going to be 31 years old Aug. 19, so Greene's chance of eventually being the main back this season is realistic when you consider Leon Washington is a change-of-pace back.

Cons: Only one year of production at Iowa is alarming; he was limited to just the 2008 season because he was academically ineligible in 2007. Can Greene digest and successfully execute at the NFL level? He remains buried three-deep at the position, too.

Fantasy tip: Greene's upside is great if he plays enough. Some fantasy owners are drafting him way too early (eighth round on the high end). His current ADP is the early 15th round, which is perfectly fair.
