Pros: Between Steve Smith and Carolina's monstrous two-headed rushing attack, defenses don't have the personnel to give Moose more than one-on-one attention. He caught 65 balls for 923 yards and five touchdowns last season; he averaged more than 14.0 yards per reception for the third straight season and fifth of the past six.

Cons: He's 36. The Panthers didn't ask much of quarterback Jake Delhomme (3,288 yards, 15 touchdown passes), and his meltdown in the playoffs conjures doubt about the stability of Carolina's passing game. What if Dwayne Jarrett steps up?

Fantasy tip: Jarrett, haha.... OK, maybe, but Moose is a quality complement (a No. 5) and an overlooked fantasy asset because of his age. He's bound to lose it any year now, but if you're out of upside options near the end of your draft, it won't hurt to see if he fends off Father Time again. You may even find him on the wire.
