Pros: Coming off a career-best 6.1 yards-per-carry average and 58 receptions, Faulk seems to be getting better with age. The Patriots are loyal to their third-down specialist, so you can be sure he'll get his. New England has so many weapons it is tough for defenses to key in on any one player, which often permits Faulk added yardage after the catch.

Cons: At some point Faulk, 33, has to slow down, right? His three rushing scores last year matched Faulk's total from 2003 to 2007, and his three receiving scores tied a career best (2002). The Pats aren't likely to have as many injured running backs in 2009 as they endured in '08, so Faulk's rushing attempts (83) should come down considerably.

Fantasy tip: Faulk's only draft-worthy fantasy value comes in point-per-reception leagues with rosters of 18 or more players. He is an ideal waiver wire pickup when you're facing a bye week or injury fill-in dilemma.
