Pros: Head coach Eric Mangini loved what he saw from Harrison in the offseason; Mangini compared him to the New York Jets' Leon Washington (448 rushing yards, 47 receptions and 355 receiving yards last year). Running back Jamal Lewis (ankle), the starter, turned 30 years old Aug. 26, and underwent offseason ankle surgery; he also has 2,399 carries on his legs. Even if Lewis stays healthy all year, Harrison should spell him to keep the vet fresh.

Cons: He'll still be the backup to Lewis, barring any further injury setbacks. Harrison isn't a great pass blocker, either; he'll need to improve that to stay on the field on receiving downs. Mangini's offenses were rarely explosive through the air during his time in New York; given the dearth of talent on the Browns' O, there might not be much room to run this year. Rookie James Davis has stepped up and may be the primary replacement for Lewis, leaving Harrison as a scatback.

Fantasy tip: Harrison is lasting until the 16th round in most standard drafts. In point-per-reception leagues, he's going roughly a round sooner. He offers moderate upside, but you're probably looking at some inconsistent outings from the explosive back.
