Pros: The former Louisiana State Tiger is eager to prove his critics wrong; he demonstrated the ability to be judicious with the football in 2008 by throwing only eight interceptions. Russell has a rocket launcher for an arm, and the Raiders are not afraid to let him use it.

Cons: Oakland doesn't have any weapons for Russell to properly mature. We question his toughness and dedication to taking his game to the next level. Oakland figures to run the ball a lot in 2009, so Russell may not have a lot of chances to produce for fantasy owners.

Fantasy tip: This low ranking is not necessarily an indictment against him. Nonetheless, do not bother with him on draft day.
