Pros: It seems as though Quinn has the upper hand in the quarterback battle with Derek Anderson. The former first-round pick from Notre Dame has a lot of potential but has struggled in his limited NFL opportunities. Quinn works the short-passing game well and took only one sack in three starts last year. The Browns have a respectable offensive line and reasonably talented targets in the passing game.

Cons: Quinn is raw and hasn't displayed the accuracy that many believed he would in the NFL (49.5 career completion percentage). The Browns are expected to be a power-running offense and play in a division with two tough defenses. Quinn will have at least one rookie receiver in the starting lineup, in all likelihood, and possibly two in the top three spots. Quinn's lack of arm strength will rein in the offense and the big-play ability of his top target, receiver Braylon Edwards. Defenses can key in on stopping the run and Quinn, which limits his overall effectiveness.

Fantasy tip: We recommend staying away from Quinn in single-year formats; he has mild value in full-retention keeper leagues. Fantasy owners can find more upside elsewhere as a backup. Quinn is a No. 3 option in deep leagues.

I think that Brady Quinn will do very well. If you look at passing stats over the last few years. Most passes are under 15-20 yards. Qb's do the short passing game. And, if you look up stats with longer than 20 yard gains, more than half of these were short passes with a good run after the catch. Very few QB's throw a pass longer than 20 yards from Line of scrimmage to point of reception. Looking to stretch the field, as you get into 30+ yard and 40+ yard receptions this number greatly decreases. HOW MANY BALLS WERE CAUGHT FROM THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE TO 40+ YARDS? HOW MANY WEERE CAUGHT 30+ YARDS.

IMO, the Browns really need to go with Quinn. Anderson had 1 repeat 1 decent year then fell apart. They paid too much for Anderson as he is a number 2 qb at best. Go with youth (Quinn) let him take his knocks and he'll be fine.
